As a student at the Buckinghamshire Recovery College we aim to give you all the support and guidance you need to achieve success. The Code of Conduct is a guide to show you what we expect from students at the College so that we can help you to achieve success in a supportive and non-threatening environment.

Our College is a student-focused, multi-ethnic community of students and staff who will work closely together. It is important that they are able to do so with minimum disruption in a safe space.

Our vision is to provide a learning experience that is accessible to all. We recognise that people and communities hold their own solutions and through working together, everyone can realise their own unique potential.

As a student at Buckinghamshire Recovery College we expect you to:

  1. Show respect to all students and staff, not use offensive or racist language, never discriminate or harass others and not to wear logo’s or slogans that could be offensive to others.
  2. To respect the wellbeing and property of the other members of the college.
  3. To take an active part in your own learning and use the resources made available to you
  4. To refrain from using mobile phones/electronic devices during the session
  5. To attend courses punctually and let us know if you can’t make it
  6. To communicate your wishes as to how we can support your wellbeing whilst attending sessions.
  7. To advise us of things that may be preventing you from getting the most out of your learning experience.
  8. To refrain from the use of alcohol and illicit substances while attending the recovery college.

We all have a responsibility to ensure that this Code of Conduct is respected and adhered to. Please do approach College staff if you have any concerns. If we feel you have breached this Code of Conduct, we will discuss this with you and work towards finding a way forward
